A much more elaborate transparent screen this time around. My TV, laptop, and PSP! Absolutely no Photoshoping of the final picture.
This is the 11th most interesting picture from July 16th, 2005. :)
At the moment this is my only qualifier for the 100 views / 10 favorites group. As of today, August 26th 2005, it has 1494 views and 10 favorites.

Thank god for tivo...
I like the fact you have a new tv resting on a old tv...uses for old tech. (tables/chairs)

Ah, nicely done!

1. Pause TV.
2. Take picture with no laptop or PSP.
3. Take picture with laptop in place, but no PSP.
4. Make a transparent screen using the distortion correction technique I described in the group discussion, and color correct with the color balance setting in photoshop.
5. Take another picture with laptop with transparent screen in place.
6. Repeat for PSP after duct-taping it to the edge of my screen.
Admittedly, I did alter the image on the PSP to make it look like the borders of the screens are tangled, but it doesn't look as good as I hoped.

The laptop screen's border can't be transparent, I think it may be shown in the psp
Good job anyway
AMagill 78 months ago | reply
I did that on purpose. I photoshopped it so that it would look like the screen borders were tangled. It didn't come out as well as I hoped, though.

How is the PSP sitting there? adhesive?!
AMagill 33 months ago | reply
A little bit of folded-over duct tape, if I remember right.

@FattoreWow- deleted your comment for the giant group invitation image. If you want my picture in your group, do it properly so all I have to do is click the 'OK, add it' button, and I'll be happy to do so.
