This was fantastic. Can I ask where you placed the flags to prevent light spill? I am very new to studio photography and working with strobes.

      Thank you so much.

Glad I can help. Happy shooting to you too!
The flags can be seen on the BTS video. They just have to be placed between the light sources and your camera, and between the light sources and the background.

Amazing! I just watched the video and the shots you showed were just spectacular. I wish I had the equipment to try this.. guess I'll have to get creative :D

Thanks a lot! You can actually realize that kind of picture with only minimal equipment. That was kind of the point of the video: Show that no super-expensive studio flashes or a professional studio is needed...
Good luck and happy shooting then !

wonderful..what find of powder did you use. It seems to have a fine grain to it so maybe not flour.

wonderful, great photos, did you have only 2 light behind the dancer? not one in front? regards

    25. Alucardo (7 months ago | reply)

      Thanks.
      It is flour.
Everything is explained here, and on the video. I didn't hide anything. :)
