This is the year in Los Angeles that Blade Runner occurs, but if you come to Tokyo today, you'll get a pretty good feel for the future of cityscapes 10 years hence elsewhere...
Had the good fortune to hookup yet again (third time now) with good Flickr bud techmeister. His business brings him out this way every month or so, so we've been hooking up regularly.
Rather than drag him yet *again* to my Tequila jaunt (Agave!), decided to try something a little different. This time took him to the top of the Atago Hills office building for a 5-star Kaiseki dinner (very traditional style Japanese cuisine), along with 5-star views ;-)

See THAT'S what I was trying to get when I visited! I didn't know where to go so I went to the top of the Mitsui building, which was nice, but there was too much space between me and the glass...so there were all these reflections in the shot, mingling with the skyline. :(
That dinner sounds awesome, too. Man, I'm going to have to ask you where to go for these photos and dinners next time I visit!

I'm a bit jealous, I've had the chance to try some japanese traditionnal dinners in great places like this one, and those were clearly one of the best meals of my life ^^

Super cool shot dude! For me I'd chop a wee bit off the top of the sky, I don't think it's adding much to that eye-catching skyline. I hate being critical though so it's just an observation :-)
