Tsunami Barrier

This is an observatory that gives a 360 degree view of Numazu, Ocean, and Mountains. Admission: 100 JPY.

Went down to Numazu over the weekend in the camping car as the weather forecast was for 25C (if you can believe that for mid-Feb).

Absolutely *perfect* weather Sat/Sun; we were in t-shirts and shorts (can't ever recall doing that in Feb in the Kanto region).

Nice photo. I live in Numazu and I see this gate, "びゅうお”, every day. I usually don't like HDR shots. I think they're like good coffee ruined with too much cream and sugar. But this shot hits home, and I like it. Did you notice that the glass building just to the left (when you are looking through the floodgate out to sea) has a set of reflective windows that perfectly capture Fuji on a sunny day? You should check it out sometime!

I go to Numazu lots of times, but don't have idea of what famous is... nice pic & nice info also : )
I love take shots of street cats just behind there... in the port... & eagles shots in the beach... : )
