Hanami

Spent Saturday out at a large park near our house (Kinuta Koen) that has a lot of Sakura (Cherry Blossom) trees.

Was there with a couple other families with their kids as well. A good time was had by all...except me. Both my nostrils were clogged shut (am allergic it seems to Cherry Blossoms) so I just sat there all day with watery eyes and labored breathing :-( Copious amounts of alcohol however did manage to mitigate my condition somewhat ;-)

This shot came out so wonderful though, I think it'd be worth it. I love cherry blossoms. They have a nice big bunch of them at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Though right now, it's still way too cold, last night it was below freezing. I can't wait until ours are in bloom!

But, I would have loved to be there with you this year. The trees and flowers are so beautiful. Well-captured!
