Bonenkai (year end) parties started last week here in Japan.
Its customary to pretty much spend every night of the first two weeks in December going out with various groups of friends, co-workers, industry contacts, and pretty much anyone else you've met at one point in your life ;-)
The idea is for all friends/contacts to celebrate the end of yet another (hopefully) successful year and wish each other the best of luck for another healthy and (again hopefully) prosperous following year.
As a result I've either been seriously intoxicated or seriously hungover every day this month...ugh. Only one more week to go ;-) Also explains why I have to dig back to an old picture to post, as I've been to bleary-eyed to shoot straight otherwise!
Non-HDR pic taken with my compact Canon IXY 910 of Ginza crossing of the throngs of people going about their business in Tokyo, Japan.
