Dovedale Money Trees

Dovedale, Derbyshire.
Halfway along the dovedale path there are a group of fallen trees/stumps completely covered with coins hammered in by visitors. I'm sure this is a fairly new practice, we walked here a couple of years ago and didn't see anything.

Some people are obviously getting paid too much ;-)
