Felixstowe! Whoo yeah! :p Not sure how many people would say that for Felixstowe but hey... (I'm from Ipswich)

I really wanna try making this matchbox pinhole!

Yeah not many people from Ipswich say it either.
Stop wanting to make a matchbox pinhole - make one! :-)

Hehe.

I'm gonna make one over the summer - which starts officially in 3 weeks when my exams are over! I'm gonna follow your instructions, but I've never made a pinhole before & don't know how to make the pinhole bit. :S

I'm finally pulling pieces together for my matchbox pinhole together! I pestered a guy in the boots in Ipswich for an empty 35mm film. He had to go through the rubbish for one! Oops!

Do you do your own developing/printing? Or, since you seem to be from near me, do you go to a photolab? If so, which one?

I do my own developing most of the time. I haven't used any local photolabs for many years. I usually just scan the negs myself without printing. For colour print film, the developing process is exactly the same so it shouldn't matter where you get the film developed. If you need prints, it might be worth going back to Boots. If the guy was willing to go through the bins for you, he might take some care when sorting out the prints where possible (frame spacings etc won't be what the machines are used to).

Thanks. I might just get them developed to start off with then talk it through with the boots guy, or someone in snappy snaps. Alternatively, there is a nice place in Norwich (*shudder*) that I get my film stuff done at during term time. They tend to be quite helpful & not phased by anything out of the ordinary.

Hey, great photo! I'm thinking about building a pinhole myself, what was the exposure time for that photo?
