It's shots like this that really make macro photography fun. It was a hard shot to get, not to mention many captures, but in the end.. it's all worth it! When I arrived at the park, I noticed that 90% of the flowers were dead, but I still found a few strange and interesting insects to photograph! (more coming soon)

One last thing I'd thought I'd mention and I'm such a nerd for saying it, but do you remember the insect that Khan used and put in Chekov's ear in Star Trek II: The wrath of Khan? This little guy resembles the one in the movie, creepy!!!
