Grindelwald
Grindelwald is a mountain village in the Bernese Oberland region of
Switzerland.
For me, it is the most beautiful place I have ever been at.
This picture was taken by myself more then 6 years ago, with an analog camera I cant even remember its type - I wasn't much into photography back then, but this is a picture (and view) I've never forgotten.

Awesome landscape, i think with a bit more post processing you can terminate the grey tones in the far mountains.. if that would match you idea with the photo that is.. Either way, like it a lot.

This is just amazingly beautiful. I was there about the same time hiking too!! Summer 2000. I haven't been back since but am seriously planning a trip soon

It's definitely a view you wouldn't forget. It was a wonderful place to visit. I've never seen grass as green as the grass in this area. Congrats on being featured in Explore!

Alon, well done - I guess a country like Switzerland with its huge diversity of many lakes, imposing alps, gentle mountains and rolling hills, with its rivers being populated and made accessible to all, we are truly blessed and I only have to correct you on one point - You will find more absolutely stunning places in this country, if you can come again and visit more often.... And the same place looks so different in winter than it does in summer.
