You wouldn't believe it, but on Le Mont Saint Michel there's not just a monastery but also a gallery of shops, restaurants and snack bars. Heck, I even spotted a post office and a hotel! But it was very crowded with tourists, so I guess all shops will benefit.
About this spot: I thank god that I took 3 shots here. The single shots look quite dull and liveless, but the 3 blended (-2, 0, +2 EV) make up for a perfect HDR (imho). When I did the square crop it improved even more. So much more that I think this is one of the best shots in my stream so far. Hope you like it too!
HDR from 3 handheld exposures. Photomatix fubar'd the sky, so I painted the -2 EV shot back in in PS. Postprocessing with Nik Color Efex Pro and Lightroom.
