Heuchelberg Vineyards

I hate leaving notes and this is the first time I ever have done. Please delete it as soon as you see it. However I like this shot cropped this way. The hut looks great. However its a great shot anyway.

Roger B. -- I am no expert in horticulture, but think you are right, in that the different colors are different grape varieties. FYI, the two varieties that are most popular around Heilbronn are the Trollinger and the Lemberger. I don't know much about them, other than that they taste really good and look very good this time of year.

vera_bing: The main grape varieties here are Trollinger, Lemberger and Riesling. But there are a few more that I can't remember. The wine is quite good, for my rather unsophisticated tastebuds. I'm sure it doesn't compete with good French or Italian wines, but I sure like it (and it is very popular too!)
