There was a photocall in the Abbey ruins today where Christopher Timothy, who played Christ in the 1980 cycle of Mystery Plays was reunited with Eilidth Alexander, who was a 6 year old in those performances where she appeared as a child at the Last Supper scene. The plays will take place in the Abbey Ruins in August 2012. Christopher Timothy is currently playing the role of Otto Frank in 'The Diary of Anne Frank', the current production in the York Theatre Royal. There was a photo taken by Gary Atkinson, Press photographer in 1980 of Mr Timothy in crucifixion pose. He allowed us to try to reproduce the moment today. Eilidh is playing Pilate's wife, Procula, in this summer's performances.

Coming back form York I had to walk past the green and couldn't resist a non-Viking shot! Placed the camera on the ground and shot at 16mm and hoped that the autofocus would do the trick.
