I usually get a sunrise shot on the first day of the year but this year I didn't. I woke early to a cold, gray, damp, foggy, morning and decided to go back to sleep.

crossed pathsFootprints in the icy snow, early morning, to get the newspaper. The neighbor's cat left his footprints earlier. I can follow his path and know that he walks around my house.
