      This was the start of the multi million dollar business.The last international race with out sponsorship was held at Levin in 1968,the first with sponsorship was at Wigram (Christchurch New Zealand) during the 1968 Tasman Series.Both Lotus 49s were driven by Jim Clark and Graham Hill.
