This is beautifully captured algo. I work with older people and see this in one sense all the time, but people's hands are sooo beautiful and tell their own stories.

The definition, colour and composition of this picture is wonderful!

This photo really brings up memories. I come from a handshake family. (not a lot of hugging or kissing, just simple handshakes.) I distinctly remember my grandfather's funeral 20 years ago. The feeling of shaking hands with my mostly farmer aunts and uncles. I think you can tell a lot by hands.

I got very touched when I saw this photo. I just lost my grandmother and she was very important to me. Your picture went straight into my heart. In a positive way, of course. :c) Thank you.

I find so many of these comments very moving - and of course humbling.
I have known all my "hands" for some time, and they are nearing the ends of their lives. I read to two of them, and one craves Steiner's writing about death, between lives and rebirth. I have found that comforting - if not absolutely totally persuasive.

Wow this picture makes you wonder what her life was like...nice

Fantastic - the years and stories that those hands have seen and could tell.

Hands are the mirrow of the individual, so incredibly revealing. All are beautiful in their own way.
This exquisite photo brought memories of Stielitz's photographs of Georgia O'Keefe's slender artist hands, so eloquently revealing. There are many other examples.
    Thanks.

Hands are so incredibly revealing and all are beautiful in their own way if soon with the heart. The detail and colors are exquite, reminding me of Stielitz's photographs of Georgia O'Keefe's slender artists hands were so elegantly realized. There are many other examples.
    Thanks.
