Restless hands

Continuation of the 100 year hands. They are always on the move, not only to keep arthritis and pins and needles at bay, but also to emphasise her lively words.

    (Much better large.)

I have such a love of the elderly . . . to sit and watch someone who has spent 100 years living, when sometimes the 38 years I've been around are so hard . . . you know that they have all had to do sooooooo much. Work so hard . . . they didn't have it as easy as we do with all the technology . . . Beautiful!

Algo, you're macros are amazing but your hands... something else. I don't think I seen one of them that did not speak, even sing! Those hands have so much character. I bet the owner is amazing.

This lady also has, what she calls restless legs, which often prevent her from sleeping. She often says that it is time for her move on.

Another beautiful hand picture: beautiful light, beautiful background fabrics. Hands are so expressive, these are portraits even though they don't show the ladies' faces.

I love this photo... skin is really just a covering that stops us leaking away!!! The worn and stretched nature of the woman's hands just shows a lifetime's effects on us all.
