Día de Muertos

On november 1st and 2nd every year, Mexico pays tribute to their lost ones. There are altars in offices, in homes, sometimes on the street, with photographs of the dead. People bring beer and cigarrettes, bread, candy, whatever it is their dear ones liked, and leave it next to their pictures.

These are a few shots of the Day of the Dead taken on Mixquic and Mexico City's Zocalo.
