      wow really nice, i am planing on getting a nikon d50, is a really good for beginners or is it for more experienced photographers?

      Thanks TLB93, Well I am a beginner really, this is my first SLR camera, before I just has a compact digital Sony Cybershot jobby so I'm not really the one to ask but....

      The D50 is the entry level digital SLR from Nikon, there is a similar Cannon camera called the 350D, these two seem to be commonly classed as equal cameras, I preferred the feel of the Nikon camera ergonomically and it felt a lot stronger in build. Also to lenses felt better in build quality also.
