Fria. Guinea. 2008.

Bauxite extraction. Guinea's red gold and the main component in aluminium production. Fria's bauxite is exploited by Rusal, a Russian company, also one of the world's largest companies involved in aluminium production. It is transformed into alumine on site and then exported, mainly to Russia, to be processed again.
