Great isolation of the truck from the background certainly does make time stand still.

I like how this seems frozen in time, and I like the contrast between the tuck and the blurred background. :)

Showing your age there bud! Never had dinky toys, just micro machines and transformers and stuff like that! Although I wish I had a dinky toy, I gather they're worth quite a bit of money these days!! Thanks for the comment!
And to tedguy and Mr Normal! Thanks!

beautiful.. incredible way it render!
Blue Silver [deleted] (89 months ago | reply)
Hm, toy or not? No, I think it's real because of the motion.
Re:
a frame? Oh dear, my last photos had frames and a lot of people didn't like it. I think it's more puristic not to use frames, so I can't do anything wrong about that. Nevertheless I'll sometimes use one. Can you give me an example of widescreen framing? I don't know what you mean.
and thanx for your kind comment. Yes, it's rather cold in Germany in these days, freezing a little bit, but no snow here in Cologne.

I wouldn't crop it at all
is almost perfect...
and perfection doesn't exist ;-)
Trapac (89 months ago | reply)
I love that you saw the potential there and took it - there is almost a comedic element to it - it almost seems to have come out of the Warren Beatty: Bugsy film, almost a cartoon truck.
I love the lighting and the colours and if I'm honest I do prefer the crop suggestion, but if I hadn't seen it I would have enjoyed this anyway. :-)

Even without a different crop, the funny van catches my attention. The colors are working very well, as does the motion itself.

Kudos.
