Moving closer …

Moving closer … by alexanderino.
… to the light.

Sydney has been playing host to some of the most mercurial weather in recent history. After a day shadowed by dark clouds and sporadic rain, it ended on a serene note with golden sunlight filling the sky.

Observe the "tubelights" on the right: these are miniature obelisk-like structures, the glowing parts made from glass.

Seen at the University of New South Wales, Kensington campus.

Yeah, the light was quite special that day, and under-exposing it enhanced its magic.
