Great kit! What is modified about the nail, and what's its purpose?

@ patrirfn: Thank you for the floss tip, i usually put some in these kits, imagine black-dyed floss though...

@ sandra194: That little roll of duct tape is carefully rolled-up from a regular roll, you have to roll your own.

@ dashashubby: Thank you. The nail, made of hardened steel, is convexly flat ground with an arrow-shaped profile which is often referred to as an armor-piercing point, you might try the larger size pic for more detail. The purpose is puncturing as many things as possible... also the flat profile makes for a great makeshift prying device; the head is flattened to make it fit into the handle of the Victorinox Rambler.

@ Mrsoftey2: Well... I'd add some thread and a pencil; at the bottom of this post, you will find some resources to enhance your kit. Got a pic?

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called WD-40 and Duct Tape, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

I was worried for a while, but then I found the duct tape.
