The view from the top of my building. Parnitha a densely forested mountain range north of Athens on fire. Very sad. See large.

Fuck man. I was at the airforce camp in Tatoi watching the flames coming and the helicopters transporting people from Parnitha's camp. Complete madness. I hope someone's gonna pay for that.

Hey, Was in Kifisia at the weekend and watched the news and it said it could be arson. How f**king stupid can people be? I feel like I have been smoking 20 a day, hope its all over for you guys.

nuntius: Yes, was crazy, we've already payed for it collectively - too late.

jonathan: same old story here in Greece, arson leads to availability of land for development and there's big bucks in that. There are apparently laws against that but with all the corruption going on and vested interests you can be sure a chunk will be developed into another casino or mega hotel or whatever. Sucks.
