Maya horsing around, happily, with Monkey the Cat in the background. Monkey is a huge Maya-fan, and vice versa. We left for the zoo shortly after this. It was a good day.

My Mom and Stepfather, finding out about Maya's existence. A pretty happy day. We drove down to see them on my Stepfather's birthday, and told them then, via a photograph.

My brother Brian and Maya. I had to work Christmas, so we drove to Portland for New Years and celebrated Christmas then. This was New Year's Day, at my Mom and Stepfather's home outside of Portland. She had a really nice time.

Maya enjoying the wide open field, running wild. It was an uncharacteristically nice day here, blue skies and no rain.
