Car stuck in the surf

This car was earlier seen splashing through the surf. It appears that the Surf won this battle, at least temporarily. Truly, tide and time waits for no man. Taken at Oceano Beach, California.

There sometimes IS justice. Maybe some fine day we will be rid of the barbaric practice of vehicles on our precious beaches. There is a cult group of folks that will time high tide coming in and the end of the day just to go to Oceano beach and watch the over-testosterone charged dudes get their cars, trucks and SUVs stuck in the surf as the tide comes in.

Is that the vehicle that was spinning sand in our face earlier when we were trying to lead some nature visitors on a docent-led dune walk? Ah shucks!

Great catch Alan. This guy has no idea how much damage he has caused. (and a new car at that)

Good catch Alan, this is not the first and surely will not be the last as many first time beach goers think they are smarter or just under estimate the sand and surf.
