Ray Bradbury
A photograph of science fiction author Ray Bradbury that I took in August, 1975 at the San Diego Comic Convention, and which he later autographed to me.

=) I love Ray Bradbury's writing, and am so glad I came across this photograph (through wikipedia, I think). What a lovely portrait - and I love his message, and especially all the exclamation points! What a ROCKSTAR!

Hello. Any more pictures from Comic-Con in the 1970s? I'm listening to your record album of speeches and interviews from the San Diego Con 1975 right now and I am always interested in photos and history of the convention.
Thanks!

You still have that old album?! We must be just about the only two in the world left who still has one. Not many were pressed or sold, so it's quite a collector's item now. Unfortunately I don't have any more photos from the old comic-con days. When I sold my business my file of photographs of the old days was destroyed. I know, it breaks my heart now.
