ACBE Reorganization Meeting |
Hayward, July 15, 2010—The Alameda
County Board of Education held its
Annual Reorganization meeting on
Tuesday, July 13, 2010.
Superintendent Sheila Jordan conducted a Swearing in Ceremony for re-elected Trustees Yvonne Cerrato and Felix Elizalde, and newly elected Trustee Joaquin J. Rivera representing Area 1 -- Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Piedmont, and portions of Oakland that include North Oakland and Chinatown/Central.
During the meeting, the Board, Alameda County Childcare Planning Coucil, and representing CSEA, President Teresa Jimenez, recognized and honored outgoing President Ms. Jacki Fox Ruby for her service to the board and for her contribution to the educational community.
Elected Officers for the 2010-2011 fiscal year are Eileen McDonald, President, and Ken Berrick, Vice President.
