This is a 'holy fish' one of the dashaavataara (ten reincarnations) of Shree Vishnu called Matsyaavataara.
( matsya = fish, dasha = 10, avataara = incarnation)

After seeing this, I am curious- there is a popular 'Jesus fish'. Isn't it interesting there is a sacred fish in two different traditions. Of course, I don't know what the "Jesus Fish" is all about. Any ideas?
