Home is where the heart is
Jars of organic dried herbs and spices, candel chandelier, fresh herbs drying, tin of cooking utensils, biodegradable dish washing liquid, dish drying rack, traditional wood fire oven.
Among the chaos, moments on the farm can still be tranquil and quiet. If the children were out playing and hadn't hurt themselves.

Ana
We were visting a nearby farm who were also taking on volunteers when a big storm started to come through. Ana was on their yurt pulling the top part close before the rain began the pour. Ana is the oldest of the 4 kids at 6 years old, she was wearing her witch dress which she wore for days.
Ana can be head strong and clingy but she's an extremely smart and independent girl.

c'est la vie - 1
In July this year, I spent 2 weeks doing volunteer work on an organic farm deep in the Pyrenées mountains in the south of France, bordering Spain. It was an unforgettable experience, perhaps equal parts good and bad.
The Pyrenées is a beautiful region, a stream runs right through the farm lot bringing us the freshest cleanest water. The farm wasn't much of a farm, just a French family living organically on a plot of land. With no electricity, no running water, 3 toddlers and 1 crying baby, it was something extremely different from my everyday life, but afterall I was there to experience their life.
More to come.

summer
Brighton, UK
I miss summer, I miss the sun, the sea and the endless brilliant Aussie blue sky. Right now I have Santa Monica in LA to make up for that.
