J'ai décidé de le tenir retourné pour le photographier avec les oreilles qui pendent. En retournant la photo, le voilà qui vole :)

I decided to photograph it upside down so its ears fall. Then, I returned the picture and here it is !

J'ai mis le flash dirigé vers le visage mais un peu en dessous pour éviter l'ombre de la branche de lunette sur l'oeil. J'ai aussi utilisé un élastique et une feuille de papier alu (ça marche aussi avec du carton noir) sur le côté du flash pour ne pas éclairer le mur derrière.

I put the flash a little bit lower than the head to prevent shadows from the glasses on the eyes. I used an aluminum foil that I fixed with a rubber band on the flash so that the flash couldn't light the wall behind.

Here is my answer to the great photographer Girl In Sneakers when she challenged me:

"I'd like you to try your hand at street photography. By that, I mean strangers only. I see a few examples of this in your stream, so I'm going to add a couple disclaimers. First, you must shoot the photo in black and white. No photoshop conversion from color. I'd like it to be taken in black and white of a total stranger. You may of course edit it in photoshop...ect if you like. And...bonus points if you ask the subject for a photo =)"

I went to Trocadero this morning hoping I can find tourists happy to be photographed. I'm not at my ease when I have to ask people so I thought it would be easier. He asked me to photograph him with his Nikon just in front of the Eiffel Tower but the sun was just behind the Lady and it wasn't easy at all :) We talked, he comes from Russia and will leave Paris today. I wish him a very good trip back.

I would like to thank Girl In Sneaker because it was a real challenge to ask a stranger for a picture. I did it hoping it looks good.
