Woronora Dam 9

One thing that really struck me was how empty it seemed. A sign of the ongoing water crisis in Sydney and Australia. You can see where the original level used to be at the start of the trees to the right.

I certainly will think twice about singing under the shower for 20 minutes...

Here is a little info I found on the Dam on Wikipedia:

    "Woronora Dam

Woronora Dam collects water from the catchment of the Woronora River, which drains into the dam and then to Georges River. The dam supplies water to residents within the Sutherland Shire in Sydney's south."

    Height: 66 metres
    Length: 390 metres
    Capacity: 71,790 megalitres
    Catchment: 75 square kilometres
    Lake: 4 square kilometres

The Dam is currently at 34.9% of its capacity.

Looks like you got a lot of great shots from that dam! Including this one!

Just out of curiosity, how many exposures did you take.

Thanks for the great comments everyone.

      ▐ X y L e▐ : 7 exposures on this one 1 stop apart, I think it would have only needed 5 max though.
