When I started taking this photo I had a whole different plan that involved my parents cat. The thing about kids and animals is they have a mind of their own. Dex started crying and Taco the cat ran away so this is what I ended up with.

I took Dexter on his first trip to Minnesota today to see my parents. Piper was so excited to see her grandparents. The whole trip over she kept telling me to drive faster mama.

Josh's parents came to visit today. Josh's mom is a librarian so she brought a big sack of books to read to Piper. Piper couldn't be happier to have her grandparents here.
