Yes, I bring my own shoyu to the sushi bar!
The Yuasa Ki-Ippon is the best tasting shoyu that I've come across yet, and luckily it's readily available at Nijiya Market. Made from 100% Tanba Kuro-daizu, which in itself is 20 times more expensive than regular daizu, this small batch traditionally produced shoyu takes 2 years to prepare.
