How to follow up the last Redshank image , how about a duo ;0)

Funny conditions , the snow was great , the considerable jelly air.,heat haze shown in the background not so great.

One of my favourite images from the owls , I love the background here , not an obvious impact full frame flickr shot , but I Iike it.

I endeavour to try and post different views, a grebe, having a good was ,and brush up.

Never came as close as I would like , and a hide rammed , kept getting elbowed ;0( High contrast conditions as well , all made for conditions I really rather enjoyed as a challenge . ;0)

An owl , doing what is does , infront of my lens.

It sounds simple doesn't it but you know what , there's a lot of standing around for hours on end in cold conditions , frantic moments of activity , where you miss the shot. Oh and there's your wife who sits and waits patiently never complaining. There's a lot more to these images than point and shoot .
