thai specialty 2 : hacienda heights
had lunch today with a long lost high school friend. she actually found me through flickr while perusing some images on hacienda heights and then saw my food photos. truly a small world. :) we were on the swimming team for a short time together but we must have made an impression because we remember each other after all these years. it was great catching up with her and talking about the latest happenings and life in general. thanks for coming out to lunch today K! hope to see more of you and let's go shooting!
we finished off our thai meal with this mango sorbet served in a frozen mango shell. it was quite tasty but $ for the amount served. however it did hit the spot for me (i ate most of it) on this warm day in LA. i should try to make it at home next time for a summer bbq or my DOMO housewarming? :D
p.s. sorry i've been quiet and not surfing much on your streams but i'm finalizing my SSE website to launch later this week hopefully. will let you all know when it's up and running. AND can't wait to get back into flickring everyone's photos again. miss u all!
