Incredible Detail!!! Good Macro Lens is now on my list!

Awesome Shot.
I wish i can do that on my Nikon D40 with the Kit Lens .. hehehe

this may be an epic shot, but i still hate them, especially how they rub these "hands" together...

i love the details of it...u can almost feel the texture of it.. great lens

Thanks everyone! This is my first "flickr blog" photo! Yay!

I shot this using the Canon MP-E 65mm Macro lens. This lens has a minimum magnification of 1:1, and can go all the way up to 5:1 (5 times life sized!). This particular shot was taken at about 2.3:1, and I had a little more than 2 inches from the end of the lens to the fly's face.
