So i was bored today and decided to take another crack at something i found very frustrating the last few times...shooting skateboarders...This guy was very helpful when I asked what i should do.. he said ahh you don't skateboard yourself...you need to anticipate what I'm about to do.

also thanks flickr for killing the wonderful tonality on this one.

I love the silky uniforms jockeys wear. Went out with Henry tonight and i discovered how hard it is to shoot sports. It was fun though, I thought there would be lots of sitting and waiting but I got tired by the end from the 3 story walk you had to do when each race was over...

And I must say after being repeatedly harassed everywhere I have gone with a camera, Woodbine was a very nice and positive experience.

Westinghouse Boiler house

Almost a pillbox sized building when compared to the buildings that it powered, its all the remains standing other then yesterday's post where a speculator is holding out for McMaster to buy his building out.

This will become a museum which is pretty cool because I know in Toronto this would have been torn for condos or a smart center....
