With a wet glass

With a wet glass

It was raining. The atmosphere was quite misty because of the water rushing down the violent fall surrounded by dense tropical forest. It was lovely at one of the waterfalls in honey valley.
I was using the 18-55mm lens for the whole day so quite a bit of moisture penetrated into it making it too hazy. After a few waterfall pics, the lens was practically useless. white hazy unfocused blobs was all it was clicking, I had to put it near the stove in the kitchen when we went back to the resort to make it transparent again.

Elephas maximus

How often do you get to see a real tusker in the wild?
perhaps for most of us, not very often

and that how we get cofee :)

and that how we get cofee :)

A tree frog sitting on coffee beans. I think this is their favourite time pass, just like we sit on cofee in cafe for time pass. Although unlike us, the frogs are still to discover the taste of coffee :D

Namdroling monastery

Namdroling monastery

Spent a few hours here on the way back to Bangalore from honey valley. Although it lacks the tranquillity of those Himalayan monasteries (may be because of the tourist crowd or may be because of not being in himalayas) it is sure an interesting and Impressive place to visit.

This pic is a Pan made out of three vertical shots. I tried but could not correct the lens error in the final image. that's why the ground looks a little curved.
