The earliest blooms of a dogwood tree in Walnut Creek. This shot is handheld, SOOC.

The cherry blossom trees are now in full bloom in front of the business school at UC Berkeley. Even though these blooms last only a short time, they are really spectacular. I took these in the early afternoon on a partly sunny day. No post-processing--SOOC.

A couple of years ago, the church gave out wheat sheaves in Sunday school in reference to some sort of Bible lesson. The sheaves themselves are interesting, so we keep them in a Lenox vase. I happened to notice the glorious lighting on the vase one late afternoon, so I had to take some shots. I love the bokeh in this one.
