alien headquarters

    ---

They tried to make it look like a normal 21st-century building. They tried to make it blend in with the facades of surrounding buildings. But what hides behind is, in fact, the alien headquarters on Earth. Unsuspecting Earthlings have no idea that this is a spaceship in disguise. Behind the seemingly normal exterior is a hive of activity, coordinating the findings of the alien listening posts scattered around the Earth. The two seemingly normal antennas on the roof of the building are actually powerful antennas capable of intergalatic transmissions. Daily reports are transmitted back via the mother ship back to the alien homeworld. When the time is right, the aliens will strike. The dormant alien symbiant that have been implanted in human bodies via the alien fruit will awake and take over their hosts. Once Earth is stripped of all its valuable resources, the aliens will depart in this spaceship, leaving behind a barren rock full of Earthling zombies.

Alien to Mother Ship... We need to brainwash Mike so that he'd forget that he saw where our hiding place was!

    8. Baron von Beerfest (70 months ago | reply)

@Mathieu - it is quite a nice building. I'll see if I can dig up some shots of it looking more normal.

Thanks! The sky is a result of the cross-processing. It was a cloudy day, hence the color. The building itself actually looks quite normal in normal colors, believe it or not. Thanks also for the invite.

This picture is awesome!! I love the colors of yellow green and blue together.

    18. Baron von Beerfest (70 months ago | reply)

@ashenzil - Thanks. It is digitally cross-processed, but no effects are added that could not have been achieved by cross-processing film.

@mightboybrian - thanks! If you like how those colors work together, you should check out the cross-processed work of bricolage.108.

Stunning shot! Superb use of colour and I think you're right about the aliens have landed - the governments of the world are full of them because they must be on another planet with all their rules and regulations.

    23. Baron von Beerfest (69 months ago | reply)

@Adrian - thanks! Yeah, perhaps the politicians have all been taken over by aliens.

@Dunottar - thanks, but I don't know where all that came from... everything just went crazy last weekend.
