I like this broader view in particular of the
building, which I've never seen before. What
colour! It must look astonishing on those
lightly greyer days in London.

Awesome vibrant colours and great
composition. That cloud looks like it's
rising out of the building, like toast from a
toaster!

the horizontal lines are so precise ... if i
am rolling on my window there is no mistake!
:) and what about this colored building if
the weather is bad...?!?:)))
the colors are as precise as the lines!
beautiful!!

Thanks very much! I don't think this building
looks as great on a dull day, so I was lucky
to have caught this when it was sunny.

Thanks! I don't actually mind the clouds, so
I've never thought about cloning them out. I
must admit a pure band of blue would be
rather striking, but my shopping skills are
not good enough for that sort of thing, I'm
afraid.

Yes, who'd have thought Gypsy Corner could
look so chic - have driven past this hundreds
of times, your pic inspired me to actually
stop and have a walk round the other day.

Does stand out a bit, doesn't it? Do you
remember what was there before the red? This
was the one and only stop I made [except
whilst stuck in traffic, of course]. I still
have some leftovers from that... one not
unlike yours, in fact.

I think it was a hotel before, but of iron
curtain featureless monochrome appearance -
the Hoover building's worth stopping for too,
but I couldn't see an obvious
stopping/parking point anywhere nearby.

I've done the Hoover up close during Open
House. Never gotten round to shooting it
whole from the other side of the road. It's
always too busy. Drove past it once at dusk
shortly before a thunderstorm. The sky looked
so dramatic and the green particularly eerie
in that light. I'm still kicking myself for
not having my camera with me then. Perhaps
I'll go in the middle of the night sometime.
There is a small lay-by almost directly
opposite, or you could always go down the
Perivale exit to the BP garage and stop on
the side of the road there. You could even
shoot the American diner whilst you are
there!
