Hardship in the streets of Varanasi (India)

Look at the face of the old woman, who passes by in a second, who apparantly knows no old age, no security, no rest and perhaps no appreciation, the loads shared between animal and woman according to capability. Can we imagine life on the forbidding streets of our nice pictures? From our celebrated frozen seconds to a lifetime?

Good capture - I know what you mean. I have seen similar sights myself and always try to remember how lucky I am. It's important to be reminded sometimes.

Yes, life is hard for some people, wether in India or in western country… The load is physical in one case, unvisible in another… And yes, it makes beautiful images sometimes. Thanks Ahron for sharing.
