Gold Rush
This is Bahrain money, its 0.1 dinars (100 Fils). In local dilect its called rubia (Rupies), the name was used because of the indian influance at the time of the East British Indian Company.
This picture is dedicated to Aneen El-Roo7 because her pictures inspired me with the idea. Picture1 Picture2 Comments█ §э乂ÿ §ђã¡ßêĦ █ [deleted] says: Wow Nice ! ;) ツ

lifeinbahrain says:btw it was called a rupee because they were
using ACTUAL Indian rupees in the past, then
when the new Fils/Dinar was introduced they
called the 100 fils a rupee cuz it was what
most things were worth.
Ahmed Rabea says:Thank you lifeinbahrain for the visit, comment, and the information.
I guess its the same in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman,
and UAE as they do call it the same.
