Meals Ready to Eat

    Al-Asad might have Pizza Hut and Burger King, but the food still sucks. Some people prefer the MREs over the crap pretending to be Burger King and Pizza Hut.

      I still gag a little when I even see the term "meals-ready-to-eat".

      MREs re not all that bad. Well at least compared to the backpackers food I once bought at REI. That was terrible crap! Next backpack trip I had a Marine buddy grab me 2 cases of MRE. In return,I called a buddy at Camp Pendleton Naval Hosp who is in charge of laser surgery and got this Marine's priority bumped up. He had Lasik 2 months later vs 1.5 yrs. Always took care of my Marines!
