Denarius. 46BC. 4.03grams. Sicily mint. Julius Caesar. Crawford 467/01b CAESAR DICT ITER COS TERT. Obverse: hd Ceres r COS TER DICT ITER. Reverse: simpulum sprinkler capis lituus AVGVR PONT MAX M. Common. The M on the reverse right stands for Munus. Another variety has a D standing for Donativum.

Very very bright shiny metal. As mentioned on other such coins, such pieces are difficult to photograph, it is like trying to photograph a mirror, even though the coins can be seen very easily in the hand.
