Agron, thanks for sharing this. It is so god-damn stupid to burn down houses, and I for sure know what I'm talking about because mine was burned too back in Kosova 1999. I will never forget what a young girl (8) from Deçani said to a reporter after crossing the border to Albania (1998), she said "... They killed our house (=home)". Some people, maybe most, may not understand, but killing your home can be worse than killing you. I remember when I was fleeing Peja on 31 March 1999, seeing my hometown in flames from the hills, after having had the most terrible night in my life, knowing not whether someone will come and slaughter my family ( I fuking didn't care about myself!!!!), knowing not whether my extended family - father, mother, brothers, sister and their families had survived the killing squads, ..., and friends, ... in all this uncertainty, ..., when I saw my city burning, literally burning down to the ground, there was only one thing in my mind echoing, loud as an outcry and silent as death, ...THEY ARE KILLING MY HOME,....
Sorry, all this came out of me unwillingly, I had to let it out.

Hi Merkur, I know how you feel as both of us together with almost 800,000 people from Kosova have experienced this... seeing how our families and friends are killed, houses being burned, forcibly expelled from our homes... and returning back to encounter this type of scenes….
Now seeing all of this happening here just brings back old dreadful memories of the time that is not that easy forgotten. In many parts of the world unfortunately this kind of human madness is continuing….

i am moved by your words... both merkur and argon... i had heard about the war and killings in kosova.. but had never experienced or listened from a person who suffered himself... i agree with you argon there are many places in world where such madness of killing people continues.. one such place is my country INDIA.. many innocents have lost their lives in india because of terrorism... such burnt houses, homeless kids are found here too... all this must stop.. this is sheer madness....

      peace..
