Unlike Bob, I managed to stay out of the line of fire.
3 of the 9 16" 50 caliber Mark7 guns aboard the battleship USS Iowa. These little pistols could hurl 2,700 pound armor-piercing shells 23 miles distant. That's considerably more than a VW bug weighs, but I think they would have to crush the bug before it fit in the barrel.
There is lots of history to this ship (more here wikipedia: USS_Iowa_(BB-61)). It is now docked in Richmond, and in a few months will be towed to Los Angeles and opened as a museum, run by the Pacific Battleship Center.
