      What would Freud say? Probably: it's about your mother, isn't it? you are frustrated and the dead tree is your link to the emotions running deep into your family history ...

      ... or some other shit like that ...

      Jung on the other hand would decree that it is an archetypal image referring to barren knowledge and your desire to bring it from its winter hibernation into blooming spring blossoms ...

      Well, is it really? Are we sure that this is not in fact a case of displaced Electra complex instead? That would indeed explain the neurosis ... although, you do not seem to show signs of grand phobias, dominance, anxious aggression against peers for affection ... or any sense of confusion or agony against the sexual identification of your id ...

      ... but it seems our time here has come to an end, shall we pick this up next week?
