      Saw this in the group "The Dutch were here" which I administer...
      Can you please describe to me why this photo - and some others you posted - belong in this group.. ? Was it actually built by the Dutch?
      As you see I have removed photos from the group that do not show any proof of Dutch presence outside of Holland... If they do, please describe it in the photo text.
      THE OTHER PHOTS showing presence of Dutch soldiers in Canada are great to have here! THANK YOU

      Lynden, Washington was settled by a large number of immigrants from the Netherlands (the Fraser Valley communities north of the border also had large numbers of Dutch immigrants). The Dutch immigrants and their descendants have built much of this community. From the description of your group I beleived Dutch immigrants were just as important as the Dutch who returned to the home country.
